Ok, now that all the Madden hype is over and everyone who really wanted it got it here is what I think of the game, so far. This yeah the goal was to sort of make the game more beginner friendly, and easier to use. This comes with some pros and cons. The only big gameplay feature added was the GameFlow , which basically replaces the “ask madden”. Sometimes the feature picks obvious plays that the defense will certainly be able to  tell that you a often found myself just changing out of the play all together. Another weird thing they changed is that there is no more turbo. I know it sounds weird but the the players adjust the speed themselves which after a while didnt seem like that big of a deal. Another thing, which at first thought probably sounds like a big deal, but the new addition of Gus Johnson more than makes up for it with more energy and liveliness. But here comes the bad… The new AI changes makes it far too easy to play offense now. The new dual analog control makes running the ball more fluid and boosts to the offensive line AI helps them get blocks and hold blocks. While hot routing and changing defensive line controls have been made that much more difficult because there is an extra step with the new all in one d-pad control. Also, I noticed was that they just did not do anything with the Franchise and Superstar modes. I know a lot of people who do not rush to buy the new Madden every year because they fear it will just me the same game they bought the year before. EA’s lack of new features in these modes does not disprove this theory. And the last bad thing was the over aggressive advertising within the game. Every time I turn around there was an old spice or verizon add somewhere within the game. It began to feel a little cheesy and repetitive. All in all Madden 11 is a great game to just pick up and play. The controls and gameplay are incredible, but as far as it being a deep experience to last until Madden 12, who knows?

After the government claimed that 75% of th oil spill in the gulf of Mexico is gone Spike Lee, the filmmaker, refused to take their word for it. He believes that it’s unlikely that “abracadabra, presto chango” the vast majority of the oil has vanished from Gulf of Mexico waters and coastal wetlands.

This is Lee’s response to a quote from scientists that three quarters of the oil in the Gulf has been taken care of from about a week ago.

I questioned myself whether I believed those claims or not when they were released but we should already know the government does a lot of lying. Unless you want get to the bottom of things yourself and do some rigorous researching all you can do is take their word and  roll with it. As for me, I doubt I am gonna look that much into it but at the same time I am keeping a skeptical point of view.

Why is it that when he makes a claim that the government is lying there is all this fuss about it, but hey look at me I’m just adding to it…

Okay so yet again rumor has it that Verizon, yeah you know the company that was supposedly getting the IPhone since 1983 is back at it again with the buzzing what ifs! Hey but this time it might just be so because someone heard that Apple has ordered “millions of units” (Of CDMA chips) to start the production of IPhones is December and the release in January. All the hype around an IPhone coming to Verizon has been around since the release in 2007 but the possibility has been growing so hey you never know.

Personally I would hate it if this turns out being true. One, I won’t feel special anymore knowing that the supposed contract with AT&T is history and everyone that was on Verizon claiming how much Android is better is slinging what they use to hate ever so much. Don’t get me wrong, I love Android and their special ability to duplicate the same device over, and over, and over again and call it new but I can’t stand the IPhone haters that hate it just because they are on a different carrier or something. I understand that there are a lot of brainless Apple junkies out there but it’s the same with Android and you can’t knock either OS so it is pretty much a pointless war. A lot of IPhone haters probably have a secret obsession with it anyway and vice-versa.

Wyclef Jean announced yesterday that he will not be running for president of United States but for the Presidency of Haiti, his native country. With his tremendous support and contribution with Yele after the earthquake many think he is just the right candidate. But as usual there is always skeptics. Brooklyn-bred rapper Wyclef Jean is counting on New Yorkers to back his run for president of Haiti – but he can’t count on his former bandmate.

Soon after the celebrity singer filed papers for his candidacy Thursday, fellow Fugees star Pras announced he’s supporting another hopeful.

“I endorse Michel Martell as the next president of Haiti because he is the most competent candidate for the job,” Pras said in a statement.

Jean is hoping other Haitian expats living in New York don’t agree.

New York, and Brooklyn in particular, is home to the world’s largest number of Haitian expatriates – and Jean told the Daily News he’s looking for their support.

“Wyclef Jean needs to be 3 million strong. Diaspora moving together to engage in help to get these people into a better situation,” Jean said.

Jean came to New York at age 9, moving to the rough-and-tumble MarlboroConey Island and later to Flatbush, said his older brother, Sam, 39. He went to Public School 199 in Midwood before leaving for New Jersey. houses in

Wyclef has stayed loyal to his homeland – he never became an American citizen and likes to show off his Haitian passport.

After a devastating earthquake rocked the island nation in January, his star power and public appeals for help attracted millions in donations to his charity, Yele.

Still, interviews Thursday with Brooklyn Haitians show Jean might have a tough road ahead of him.

“Wyclef is a musician. He’s not fit for the job. It’s like taking an engineer and putting him in a hospital,” said Yvon Olivier, 59, manager of Chaco International Shipping in Flatbush.

Like President Obama, Jean is relying on younger voters to get him into office, distancing himself from the older candidates – including his 78-year-old uncle, Raymond Joseph, who has been the U.S. ambassador for the past five years.

Aside from the family troubles, Jean will also have to grapple with questions about Yele. Tax returns showed that some prequake donations to Yele went to Jean’s Manhattan recording studio and his Haitian television production company.

Jean told The News that he learned from his mistakes, changing Yele’s leadership and opening up its books.

“People say, ‘Are you running for president?’ ” Jean said. “I say no, I am naturally being drafted by my country to serve my country,” he said.
